In addition to being used as a degasser, metallic calcium is mainly Ca-Pb and Ca-Zn alloys used in the manufacture of bearings. Then we can directly use the electrolytic method to electrolyze and melt Ca-Zn to produce, that is, to use liquid Pb cathode or liquid Em cathode to electrolyze and melt CaCl2, so that the cathode coating of the metal calcium rod that emerges from the cathode surface can diffuse, and the cathode metal Pb or Em Form Ca-Pb or Ca-Zn alloy, and sink into the pit where the alloy accumulates at the bottom of the electrolytic tank, and then regularly use a spoon to remove the alloy from the accumulation pit.

When using liquid Pb or Em cathode to electrolyze and melt CaCl2, 20% KCl is added to the electrolyte to lower the melting temperature, so its operating temperature is 750°C. After regular production of Ca-Pb and Ca-Em alloys, it must be added regularly according to the production volume Pb or Em, using this method to produce Ca-Pb or Ca-Em alloy, the amount of Ca in the alloy can reach 60~65%. From the electrolysis of Pb+Ca and Em-Ca alloys, pour them into pig iron molds to cast ingots, then wash off the electrolyte on the surface of the alloy ingots with water, and put them into storage after drying. Using this method to produce Ca-Pb and Ca-Em alloys has low energy consumption, low consumption of raw materials, and low cost. It is the simplest method for producing Ca-Pb and Ca-Em alloys
